About Siri Sadhana

Siri Sadhana Kaur / Debora Collister

Siri Sadhana Kaur is a touring UK mantra recording artist, dancer and a Kundalini yoga trainer. Her love of embodying the sacred through movement, melody and rhythm led to her to record an eclectic mix of 8 music mantra albums . Her daughter Aloka tours and records and is featured on their latest release ‘Rise+Shine’. Siris’ background in Theatre inspired her to train in Paris as a performer with the movement master Jacques Lecoq. She collaborated in both classical and innovative ensembles, whilst integrating interpersonal and therapeutic expression.

For 20 years she worked closely with Sobonfu Somé daughter and elder of the Dagara tribe of West Africa, establishing the ritual healing village training UK, learning indigenous technology. Siri recently co-founded The Kundalini Yoga Studio in central London and runs Level 1 + Level 2 Aquarian teacher trainings, and events with the Karam Kriya School.
With gratitude to her spiritual teacher Shiv Charan Singh, she shares her music, the timeless teachings of Kundalini yoga + indigenous technology, encouraging others to dance + sing their joyful depths, incorporating ceremony to consciously awaken and become the instrument and true light of our souls.

 

Siri facilitates events sharing mantra dance, Kundalini Yoga, Gong baths and singing acapella choirs. She travels performing Kundalini mantra music and devotional music. As a certified KRI proffessional kundalini teacher trainer, she travels sharing kundalini yoga teachings as taught by Yogi Bhajan., and is mentored by her teacher  Shiv Charan Singh at the Karam Kriya School

She is a lead monitor for the Uk white tantra team, organizes Level 2 teacher trainings, sangat events for the Great British Kundalini Yoga Festival, and is co-ordinator for the Karam Kriya Women’s Camp UK 2016 Karam Kriya School

Stage-wise, she has taught at Drama schools LAMDA and Rose Bruford College delivering theatre and singing workshops for adults and children. She has also produced a children’s CD called ‘Songs for the Seasons’ for the North London Rudolph Steiner school kindergarten, which is available if you contact the school directly.

Siri teaches at Triyoga London and tours festivals in Germany, France, Spain and the UK. Siri’s early beginnings were in theatre and as an actor she performed theatre internationally including the Edinburgh Festival, Dublin, Paris and the USA. She studied in Paris with innovative movement master Jacques Lecoq (1990-1992) and today, she holistically incorporates the body in her vocal work and music. While training she sang jazz, blues and accapella in Paris bars, using her vocal range to fund her through theatre school.

Siri’s spiritual calling led her at the age of 17 to study the Art Of Tai Chi Chuan training with Beverley Milne in London, later certifying with school of Tai Chi Chuan and Centre for Healing. She further studied with Master William Chi-ChenChen Xiao Wang and Dr Shen Hongxun. She taught at high profile health clubs in for nearly twenty years and now teaches Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan.

Alongside her singing, music and yoga practices, Siri has a a PGCE/Cert Ed at the Institute of Education, further qualifying in Neuro Linguistic Programming, Life Coaching and Counselling. She has enjoyed teaching within corporate environments and adult communities delivering personal developement  programmes at the City Lit institute Covent garden, Siri founded the ‘Women’s Circle,’ teaching and producing healing events  ‘The Ritual healing village training in the UK’ in collaboration with West African indigenous teacher Sobonfu Some.
